Lounge in NYC Closes

Its official! Lounge NYC is closing and making way for a huge Secret, Victoria's that is. Victoria's Secret brought the space to make a 24,000 square foot store twice as large as the one nobody shops at on Broadway and Prince St. While this a little disappointing because I just found out about Below the Lounge (shoe department) its more surprising than anything. I always hated Lounge on retail and wholesale level. They acted as thought they were the best store in the world and you were privileged by getting to go in. Maybe they should have paid their bills. Anywho, I'll be shopping there now for the sales!

PS Don't be fooled. Everything is marked up and the put on sale so they are making regular price. Wait a while when everything is really on sale days before they actually close.

Obama Obssesed

The scene: Harlem - 125th St. at 10pm passing a table full of Obama paraphernalia. The embellished tees and hoodys go for $20 to $100. The designer claims MTV bought one for $80 dollars and Olivia (who?) bought one too. The designs are actually pretty cool. This is a bad picture but he’s always on 125th St., check him out.

Leg Necessities from the Costume Dept.

Since my liquid leggings purchase from American Apparel I've been more than happy to strut my chicken legs out and about the city. I'm not a huge fan of prints however I am trying to get out of my style rut (we'll talk more about that later.)
Let check out the Costume Dept. Samson and Kela from LA started the legging line just earlier this year but already has been a big hit. They received press from Daily Candy, WWD and People, etc. You're probably thinking what’s the big damn deal, maybe the fact that they're made in extremely limited quantity, the price is great or maybe its how hot you will look wearing them. Mass appeal... once they're sold out say bye bye.
