Over The Knee Boots Stomp The Runways
Over the knee boots are a must have for fall. Whether they are stilettos or flats, the higher they go up the leg, the sexier you are.
Gucci Fall 2009
Roberto Cavalli Fall 2009
Lacoste Fall 2009
Stella McCartney Fall 2009
Vivienne Westwood Red Label Fall 2009
Isabel Marant Fall 2009
Rotarte Fall 2009
Here are a few styles in different price ranges. I would probably go with a boot that’s a bit pricier to ensure a great fit.

Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2009 Couture Runway Show
In other couture news, Jean Paul Gaultier had an eccentric Fall 2009 couture show. He received a bit of criticism for the lack of focus and the croc/metallic overalls with fur but I still enjoyed it. I can definitely see Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Katy Perry and Rihanna wear some of bodysuits on stage. View the entire collection at style.com

Chanel Fall 2009 Couture Runway Show
Sorry guys, I know I'm "like a fucking month late" (who knows where that line is from?) but I haven't been excited to post anything Chanel. The fall 09 couture show was quite a bore. Literally every style was simple (what an insult to couture) and could have been easily been past off for an up-and-coming ready-to-wear. Style.com excuses Karl since he's had a fabulous spring couture show and just a few weeks ago, put on a glamorous resort show. Nevertheless, I picked a few highlights for us to stare at in awe. And before you guys come down on me, I do love the black dresses, I will be getting lace tights from Look from London and wish I had a rich grandmother who wore the silver cardigan-skirt suits. PS. Congrats to Shu Pei Qin of Next. Diversity does not only mean black models.Black Barbie for Italian Vogue
Franca Sozzani, Editor-in-Chief of Italian Vogue said that it is because of Barbie's iconic generational status that he wanted to dedicate the the July 2009 issue to her and there is no better way to keep in step with the times than to use Black Barbie to represent the issue.
A decision no doubt due to the success of last summer’s groundbreaking All Black Issue. An issue to make a statement about the lack of diversity in the fashion industry.
I was so excited to hear about a magazine issue dedicated entirely to black models, I must applaud Mr. Sozzani for doing it again.
Though this years issue is not entirely about black models, a special July supplement focuses on all black Barbies, artistic photography and barbie fashion spreads.
Barbie first came out with a black doll, called "Francie," in 1967, and in 1980 the first black Barbie doll launched. Most Interesting enough is the fact that Mattel Inc. will now be launching their first complete line of all African American dolls, called the "So In Style" dolls due to be released Fall 2009.

Fall Preview "The Book" from Neiman Marcus
Neiman Marcus emailed The Book yesterday as a fall preview fashion magazine/catalog to its clients. The 77 paged online magazines styled by world renowned fashion director Ken Downing. It starts off a bit predictable with core pieces but eventually gets a little fashion forward featuring a dress by Kimberly Ovitz, Manolo Blahnik boots, new Gucci and Roberto Cavali.

Givenchy Fall 2009 Couture Collection
I absolutely love Givenchy Fall 2009 Couture Collection. The African influenced trends from spring 09 carry on to fall in a middle eastern way. Riccardo Tisci drapes models in gold chains, head-to-toe black, jodhpurs, velvet, tattto-like embroidery, studs, and tastefully covered veils over hair. I can't wait to see H&M interpetation of the jackets. View the entire collection at style.com

An Artistic Homage to Michael Jackson
I haven't talk about Michael Jackson because I'm sure you hear about him everyday, 5 times a since the untimely passing. I couldn't however, overlook these beautiful artistic tributes by artist around the world. To view more images of An Artistic Homage to Michael Jackson visit webdesignerdepot.com

Sasha Fierce for Deréon
Beyonce and Tina Knowls are taking this Sasha Fierce thing to a whole new level and fortunately a good one. By back-to-school time there will be a Sasha Fierce for Dereon junior apparel line in stores. I’ve never been a fan of House of Dereon but if the rest of the clothes are this fashion forward, I may have to look in to this.
