Ralph Lauren Spring 2010 Collection
Ralph Lauren tells an interesting story with his spring 2010 runway collection. Focused on the depression era, Ralph gets very detailed dressing the models in newsboy hats, vest, distressed boyfriend jeans, floral frocks and mens suits. Towards the end of the collection he gets a little glitzy in blue flowy dresses and gowns. "I believe in the resilient spirit of America. Hard times seem to sharpen our capacity for idealism and our optimism that tomorrow will be a better day. I am inspired by the character of the worker, the farmer, the cowboy, the pioneer women...I have always admired the honesty of their work wear..." Ralph definitely nails this collection!

Norma Kamali Spring 2010 for Ebay + Walmart
Norma Kamali unveiled her spring 2010 collections for eBay + Walmart at the Apple store in Soho, NY. Norma Kamali for Walmart previous season has been a such a hit that it is sells on eBay for more than twice the original price. After months of research she decided to sell a small vintage collection straight to eBay. In her signature red, white, grey, black and stripe there were jersey dresses, roughing, and her classic sleeping bag coat.

Fashion's Night Out NYC
By now we have all heard about Fashion's Night Out - a global initiative to promote retail, restore consumer confidence, and celebrate fashion, U.S. and international editions of Vogue are coordinating evening extravaganzas in their respective world fashion capitals. During Fashion’s Night Out, there will be free shuttle buses running in Manhattan 6–11pm. Fashion's Night Out starts later to day in a mere few more hours. Still looking for places to go?
